Summary and Objective   

Provide Maintenance and Avionics sales support to streamline MRO business processes. Collaborate with internal and external customers, building quotes/estimates, invoices/credits technical inquiries and logistical details before customer input. Manage pricing agreements for MRO activities. Assist in planning and scheduling for FlyExclusive and internal/external customers.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management 

  • Manage customer expectations pre-input, ensuring clear communication and alignment before work begins. 

  • Conduct proactive outreach to customers regarding painting and interior upgrades. 

  • Track project status and organizing internal schedules based on pipeline probability of closing. 

  • Provide technical support on requirements, proposal terms, and conditions, ensuring customer inquiries are addressed accurately and thoroughly. 

  • Actively participate in design specification sessions with customers, collaborating with designers to ensure customer needs and preferences are met. 

Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge 

  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations (FAA Part 145), technologies, and competitor offerings in the maintenance and avionics space. 

  • Recommend new service offerings, capabilities, or improvements based on market demand and customer feedback. 

Sales & Business Development 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth in maintenance and avionics service offerings. 

  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers, OEMs, and partners to promote repeat business and referrals. 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, avionics installations, modifications, and upgrades. 

  • Leverage Company and Aviation databases to identify, manage, and track sales opportunities. 

  • Promote and sell MRO Maintenance and Avionics services by preparing and delivering professional sales presentations, proposals, and contract reviews independently or in collaboration with other departments. 

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and vendor events, building new relationships and strengthening existing customer/vendor partnerships. 

  • Establish and maintain key vendor relationships in support of system upgrades, materials sourcing, and customer targeting. 

Quoting, Pricing & Financial Coordination 

  • Prepare and deliver quotations, estimates, and pricing for Maintenance and Avionics, ensuring compliance with company pricing policies. 

  • Conduct regular price/cost analyses and maintain harmonization of pricing strategies across the business. 

  • Track customer quotes, coordinate RFP/RFQ processes, and support accurate, timely responses. 

  • Coordinate initial billing for maintenance events prior to input; assist Finance/ Planning with invoice creation. 

Project Oversight  

  • Work hand in hand with Project Management team on an as needed basis.  

  • Create customer sales orders, initiate work orders, and ensure project documentation aligns with company standards. 

  • Conduct internal cost analyses of completed projects, comparing historical costs against current proposals. 

  • Forecast, schedule, and plan upcoming projects; support and/or lead cross-functional projects as needed. 

  • Create and maintain harmonization of the Customer Interface process ensuring a seamless client experience. 

Other Duties 

  • Support adherence to company policies, procedures, and directives. 

  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

Competencies  

  • Microsoft Office Suites 

  • SAP experience required in SD, MM, WM or SD environment Licensure/Certifications 

Supervisory responsibilities  

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities  

Work environment  

  • Typical office and computer lab environment with frequent interruptions. 

  • Exposure to loud noises including but not limited to airplane machinery and jet engines. 

Physical demands  

  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs minimally. 

  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools minimally. 

  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on a computer daily. 

  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor regularly. 

  • Walking (including routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces regularly. 

  • Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site 

Dress Code and Uniform  

  • Well-groomed appearance  

  • Adherence to department dress code  

Travel required  

  • Must be able to travel independently on short notice. Travel requirements will be minimal but may occur as needed.

Job Requirements:

Required education and experience  

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in associated field Experience   

  • Minimum five (5) years in customer support or MRO (Maintenance, Repair Operations)   

  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship 

  • Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.
