Raytheon Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Doha is seeking a HR Business Partner to join our team, supporting all Raytheon programs operating in the region. In this role you will have responsibility for providing HR leadership to all employees supporting international programs in the MENA region (Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain) and will support across our 7 sites in Doha, Qatar.
In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will collaborate with the LADS HR team and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with Raytheon Human Resources vision and mission.
You will collaborate with business leaders and employees across various programs on topics including performance management, talent development and acquisition, compensation, and employee relations. Additionally, in collaboration with HR Colleagues in region and the US, this position will provide support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, and employee engagement.
This accompanied position will be onsite in Doha, Qatar and customer sites for a long-term international assignment with additional compensation.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
What You Will Do
- Represent Human Resources for the Doha location by driving local HR initiatives and providing support to collocated team members.
- Partner with mid-level and senior leaders, and local employees, to ensure Doha is a place where everyone feels supported.
- Collaborate with RTX’s Global Mobility team and international program teams in ensuring smooth and consistent deployment of expatriates to international assignment locations.
- Support critical HR processes, including compensation, talent development, performance management and talent acquisition.
- Collaborate across the HR organization including Employee Relations (ER), Organizational Effectiveness (OE), Total Rewards, Talent Development (TD) and other HR Partners to achieve business and talent objectives.
- Provide consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions.
- Drive Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development.
- Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, and employee communications in support of strategic objectives.
- Drive timely resolution to Employee Relations and Ethics cases.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a university degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of related experience.
- Experience in human resources and executing project deliverables on multiple projects.
- Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Cognos, SPEED, Workday and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools.
- Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and Succession planning.
- Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance, talent development and / or employee relations.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration desired.
- Experience in handling employee relations issues and partnering with employee relations / labor relations when necessary.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions.
- Ability to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and handle high levels of confidentiality.
- Excellent business acumen with experience driving HR partnerships in influencing business results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to include conducting presentations to the business.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
