Job Description:
SUMMARY:
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible to recruit employees for all employment opportunities with the exception of those in the Flight Department. This includes posting jobs, collecting and reviewing applications, maintaining the applicant database, scheduling and conducting pre-screens and interviews, assisting with the new hire process and on-boarding of new employees, etc
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within various areas of the organization, including but not limited to: airport services, information technology, accounting, operations, safety, planning/marketing, management and reservations
Accept employment requisitions, obtain necessarily approvals and post positions
Coordinate advertisements with local newspaper, universities, schools, recruitment platforms
Accept employment applications, review candidate qualifications, schedule and conduct pre-screens and interviews, make job offers and send correspondence to applicants not selected
Provide information to candidates about corporate benefits, salary and corporate culture
Develop and foster external relationships with universities, unemployment offices and various other professional organizations
Coordinate the onboarding and internal transfer process
Create and dissimenate company badges for new hires and current employees
Travel to attend various job fairs, school career fairs and other recruitment events
Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and programs, Laws, and Standards
Remain current on all HR related issues including Employee Relations, Labor Law (State, Federal and Regional), Compensation, Hiring, Benefits, etc.
Support the HR dept by performing other HR duties as needed
Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to apply good judgment in the course of performing job duties
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem solve to meet the immediate needs of internal and external customers
Work independently and coordinate multiple priorities and functions effectively in a fast paced environment in order to meet strict deadlines with sharp attention to detail
Demonstrate superior customer service skills by maintaining a pleasant and professional manner while communicating tactfully and effectively with others in a timely manner
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public
