Roles and Responsibilities
- Define supplier strategies, including the management and optimization of supplier panels for the Unison C Parts Commodity.
- Lead negotiations and allocate procurement needs to specific suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Transmit negotiated terms and conditions to Procurement and ensure seamless communication across teams.
- Manage supplier claims and resolve issues to maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Perform commercial sourcing activities such as data analysis, negotiation support, and purchasing tasks as needed.
- Oversee a small to medium-sized team of professionals, leveraging specialized expertise to drive results.
- Influence the development of strategy within the sourcing function, including resource allocation and policy formulation.
- Lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
- Communicate complex concepts effectively and influence stakeholders to consider alternative perspectives.
- Advise management on functional and business decisions, providing evaluative judgment to achieve objectives.
- Assess the quality of information provided and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
- Offer innovative solutions to complex problems and construct actionable recommendations.
- Utilize internal and external resources to support decision-making and drive functional success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing and/or Supply Chain.
