Intergalactic, now a part of Unison, a GE Aerospace Company is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This pivotal role is responsible for achieving key objectives in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) while championing continuous improvement initiatives. The Plant Manager will play a critical role in establishing a new manufacturing site, transitioning from low-rate to high-rate production. This includes establishing a cross-functional supply chain organization that integrates hourly and salaried team members across key areas such as safety, sourcing, quality, operations, and manufacturing engineering. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and a dedication to cultivating a culture of excellence. Leveraging the Flight Deck system, which is GE Aerospaces LEAN proprietary operating system, this individual will drive process improvements, implement standardized best practices, and ensure a seamless ramp-up for New Product Introduction (NPI) into high-rate aerospace production.Job Description

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing plant operations.
Minimum 1 year of experience in transitioning manufacturing sites from low-rate to high-rate production, preferably in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze data, develop actionable insights, and drive results.
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
