The Logistics Manager is a critical, high-impact role requiring a seasoned professional passionate about optimizing complex logistics and warehousing operations. Utilizing your expert proficiency in advanced data analysis platforms (SAP, Hana 4.0, SQL, Alteryx, etc.) and Lean / Six Sigma principles, you will autonomously drive operational excellence.

Your primary goal is to improve material flow from receipt to production, directly impacting metrics like dock-to-stock cycle times. You will lead mid-to-large-sized projects from conception to completion, contribute to strategic planning and KPI development, and influence both internal and external parties on policy adoption. This position is ideal for a self-starter ready to deliver significant, measurable improvements with minimal managerial oversight.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the Advanced or Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing advanced lean expertise and leadership specifically within dock-to-stock, logistics, and warehousing operations.
  • Manage and resolve moderately sized processes, cross-functional operational challenges through detailed analysis and investigation, utilizing advanced tools
  • Achieve daily objectives and drive significant work area impact by implementing moderate to substantial improvements to processes, systems, and products.
  • Drive significant operational improvements by leading and executing moderate to substantial processes, system, and product enhancements, analytical PBI dashboards, tools and reports as key deliverables.
  • Contribute directly to strategic planning, including the development of departmental goals, metrics, KPIs, operational plans, and budget recommendations.
  • Lead mid-to-large-sized projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives are met with minimal managerial oversight.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum five (5) years experience.
  • Experience with Logistics, Property Management, Operations, or Supply Chain.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience within the Manufacturing, Operations, Warehousing and Aerospace & Defense industry is plus not required
  • Project Management experience.
  • Obtained or in the process of obtaining CORE Professional, Green/Black belt or any other similar improvement certification
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, or PMP
  • Proven leadership and management abilities with the capacity to effectively influence cross-functional teams.
  • Expert proficiency in data analysis tools Predictive, Descriptive, Diagnostics analyses and platforms, including SAP, SAP Ariba, Hana 4.0, SQL Server, SSIS, SAP Scripting, VBA, Alteryx, and Snowflake.
  • Demonstrated experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma principles, including successful strategy implementation.
  • Strong foundation in strategic and critical thinking, effective problem-solving, and adaptability within autonomous and team-based settings.
  • Advanced technical experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Power Apps, and advanced MS Excel functionality.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of objectives that yield a significant, measurable impact on team performance.
  • Skilled at influencing and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders (including customers and vendors) to drive adoption of policies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively across different internal functions and external organizations to meet business objectives
  • Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems in order to provide enhancements within job area

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
