Delivery Manager - IAM & PAM

Overview of Role: 
The Delivery Manager – Identity is WestJet’s operational leader for enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM). This people leadership role is accountable for the operational IAM and PAM teams, owning strategy, process automation and execution, and technology operations for identity governance (SailPoint) and privileged access management (CyberArk). The role drives measurable control maturity, ensures compliant access at scale, adheres with zero trust security principles, and partners closely with business stakeholders, Cybersecurity, Architecture, and Modern Workplace teams to deliver secure, automated, and resilient identity services.  

Key Deliverables / Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IAM and PAM teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture 

  • Own and support WestJet’s identity and privileged access management platforms, ensuring reliable operations, upgrades, integrations, disaster recovery readiness, and audit evidence management 

  • Manage vendor relationships, software contracts, and budgets for IAM/PAM platforms and contractors 

  • Execute and continuously improve IAM and PAM processes in alignment with cybersecurity policy and zero trust principles 

  • Partner with the Cybersecurity team to develop, implement, and govern identity-related processes and controls 

  • Deliver prioritized IAM/PAM initiatives, including program resets, policy rationalization, privileged account onboarding, vault hardening, and recertification cadence 

  • Report on key metrics (e.g., provisioning accuracy, access review completion, privileged coverage, control effectiveness) 

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements in partnership with Cybersecurity 

  • First Year Mandate: Lead reset of WestJet’s IAM and PAM programs, focusing on zero trust security principles and process automation 

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Master’s degree considered an asset 

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in IAM/PAM leadership, including hands-on platform ownership 

  • IAM certification with relevant applications – direct experience with SailPoint IIQ desired 

  • PAM certification with relevant applications – direct experience with CyberArk desired 

  • ITIL Foundations/Certification 

  • Proven experience managing teams, vendors, and budgets 

  • Strong strategic vision, technical expertise, and stakeholder partnership skills 

  • Experience with process automation and zero trust security principles 

  • Strong senior stakeholder management capabilities
