Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of airport building facilities. This includes elevators, conveyor systems, mechanical systems, lighting systems, communications/radio systems, air handling units/HVAC units, fire systems, plumbing systems, and more. The role may also involve working with PLC electronic systems, computer controls, and steel frame structures.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on various building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Work on PLC electronic systems and computer controls as needed.
- Ensure the functionality of fire systems, air handling units, and conveyor systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for building maintenance.
- Work independently and follow wiring schematics for industrial wiring tasks.
- Make low and high voltage repairs to building electrical equipment, including solving, installation, and repair of electrical circuitry and devices.
- Operate and maintain equipment in all weather conditions and during various shifts.
Essential Skills
- Thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with emphasis on electrical solving.
- Experience in industrial wiring and ability to read and follow wiring schematics.
- Ability to make low and high voltage repairs to all building electrical equipment.
- Experience with air handling units, plumbing, steam fitting, fire systems, and conveyors.
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work without supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Journeyman electrical license is a plus.
- Twenty-four months of experience required in at least three areas: Electrical, Structural/Carpentry, HVAC, Mechanical.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required.
- Valid, clean, applicable state drivers license.

Work Environment
Work both inside and outside, accommodating all shifts, including weekends and holidays. The position involves moderate lifting and requires climbing and working from ladders, as well as walking for extended periods.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $71802.00 - $71802.00/yr.
