Responsibilities:
- Support quality assurance and nonconformance investigations for manufacturing processes and inventory control systems.
- Assist in reviewing and validating product nonconformances, engineering requirements, and quality procedures.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action development for nonconforming parts, processes, or plans.
- Participate in gathering and analyzing data to support resolution of quality issues.
- Assist in documentation and submission of corrective actions for review and approval.
- Contribute to program-level resolutions by coordinating corrective action commitments across departments.
- Support validation activities to ensure corrective actions effectively resolve identified issues.
- Ensure internal replication systems and processes meet regulatory and company standards.
- Create and audit airplane-specific airborne software packages to ensure data handling compliance.
- Conduct audits to verify storage and handling of engineering-defined media meet all quality specifications.
- Work under general supervision within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Qualifications:
Associate degree and typically 1+ years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with inventory control and handling of defective parts.
Background in manufacturing environments.
Preferred:
Prior experience with Boeing manufacturing systems or processes.
Aviation or aerospace industry experience.
Experience with Material Review Segregation Area (MRSA) procedures.
