Raytheon has an opening for a Materials Management Senior Analyst at our Chesapeake, VA facility. The successful candidate has working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting.
Responsible for cross functional collaboration to review and interpret contracts, create, and maintain end item schedules, bills of material and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements. This role is responsible for interface with internal and external customers.
What You Will Do
Control of bill of material and end item requirements (master production schedule) in MRP system.
Collaborate with Program Management to review proposals and transition Contract Awards to the MRP system.
Provide MRP scheduling subject matter expertise to factory and program management.
Establish, maintain records, and submit status reports.
Employ expertise in scheduling end items that will drive make, buy, and warranty requirements.
Analyze and resolve complex systemic MRP and manufacturing BOM issues.
This position is an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and less than 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree
Experience using SAP or another MRP/ERP system
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in application of production control, MRP principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
Experience with inventory management, capacity planning and finite scheduling, JIT concepts, and production scheduling.
Experience in manufacturing and/or depot repair environment – production, re-manufacturing, or refurbishment; ‘transition to production’ and/or production proposals.
Experience with the creation, execution, and tracking of organizational projects and goals.
Experience with MS Office and MS Project.
Planner or scheduling experience in MRP– SAP, Oracle or equivalent.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
