Job Description:
Main responsibilities:
Contributing to the definition, consolidation and development of the commodity strategy (market analysis, spend, key suppliers, cost drivers) in close cooperation with the key stakeholders members of the MFT (Multi-Functional Team).
Supporting the tender (via Procurement tool) and supplier selection process for the commodity products, including the generation of Selection Reports and the associated contracts;
Negotiating agreements & contracts for given suppliers and linked military aircrafts (e.g. C295, A400M…) with support to escalations from Supply Chain
Supporting transversally Commodity for end of price validity/end of contract validity (database management and action plan definition with associated commodity managers).
Identifying mandatory clauses and annexes to be updated/inserted in Aerostructures contracts and continue with monitoring contract compliance.
Ensuring adequate performance level from suppliers via robust and systematic consequential management and claim process.
Identifying and implementing savings projects in all areas.
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or business administration
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to persuade, influence and convince
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
Team spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment
High level of motivation to lead complex projects
English: Advanced level
Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain or similar fields of expertise would be an asset
Experience in the aerospace sector would be a plus
Spanish would be a plus
