We have an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will lead the month end close process, maintain the general ledger including account analysis and preparation of monthly working papers.
The Senior Financial Analyst will research, analyze and develop cost models. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

What You Will Do:
- Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture
- Support compliance with Raytheon policies
- Support site audits, both internal and external
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
- Prepare and post complex journal entries
- Compile, analyze and provide solution-based recommendations for key stakeholders’ decision-making by leveraging multiple business systems / tools, metrics, reports and/or processes.
- Generate program financial artifacts such as CIP reports, graphs, and analysis, as required
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, data integrity checks, and validations related to financial reporting in a fast-paced environment
- Coach, mentor, and support team members to ensure performance and adherence to project or process timelines
Qualifications You Must Have:
- University degree or College diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
- 3 years’ relevant financial/accounting experience
- Working towards completion of CPA designation an asset
- Working knowledge of computerized financial ERP applications
- Experience in Financial Analysis or Business Accounting with advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivots, Lookups, Data Validation, etc.)
- Experience with working with large amounts of data and performing financial analysis
- Able to work with tight deadlines, setbacks and changes in policies
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Self-starter; able to work autonomously with limited oversight as well as in teams
- Communicate and prioritize effectively
- High customer focus on resolving issues and delivering solutions
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset

This position involves technologies regulated by the Canadian government’s Controlled Goods Program and the Contract Security Program.
