Job Summary:
This position is for a Financial Analyst, FP&A, to support the IIS Rates team. The selected candidate can expect to gain valuable business level experience and insight into how strategic management decisions impact the performance of the company. This position entails creation, review, and analysis of financial data relating to overhead expenses and rates, and their impact on sales and margin. Additionally, the Rates team regularly works with experts in Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgets, Accounting, and other Functional organizations.
This position is onsite in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do:
Job responsibilities will include supporting certain pools in the IIS Rate Structure. For those pools, responsibilities may include preparation and/or support of:
Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) process
Monthly base and expense forecasts & variance analysis
Data extraction, consolidation, and analysis
Monthly & Quarterly DCMA Reporting
Support DCAA audits
Supporting special projects, as required
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Math, Business or related field.
Typically requires less than 2 years of applicable work experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proficient computer skills in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote
Knowledge of Rates and burdening process, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and/or Cost or Government Accounting.
Experience with an ERP system (SAP Preferred) or any accounting system
Ability to Work under minimal supervision. Participates in determining goals of assignment plans & schedules
Excellent critical thinking abilities & desire/eagerness to learn

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
