Associate Estimating and Pricing Specialist

The Air Dominance team is seeking an Associate Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the estimating team in Hazelwood, MO while supporting surrounding areas such as Berkeley.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor and Other Direct Costs (ODC)) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment will mainly support F-22 but will also support MQ-25 and Sensors and Special Programs as required.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in evaluation of requests for proposal

  • Develop basis of estimates to support proposal and technical requirements

  • Perform analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Coordinate and collaborate with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of costs estimates, proposals and other related business decision data

  • Identify, assess and implement changes to processes, tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience in a finance, estimating or related role

  • 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of acquisitions experience (Labor Estimating, Material Estimating, and/or Contracts)

  • Ability to effectively support multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing tasks in a way that promotes work-life balance and inclusivity

  • Creative problem solving and diverse perspectives, working in areas such as engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, business, finance, accounting, contracts, estimating and pricing, business operations, procurement, financial analysis, or a related discipline

Summary pay range: $66,300 – $89,700
