Job Description:
Responsible for the ownership and overall performance of the assigned manufacturing equipment including selection, initiating manufacturing equipment appropriations, equipment availability, improving uptime, tool cycle time, equipment scrap reduction, approving Engineering Change Notices affecting equipment performance; establishing equipment related procedures; parts inventory replenishment, minimizing repair issues, and establishing preventive maintenance requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Equipment Engineers are responsible for the equipment in the assigned production area to include ownership of the manufacturing tools, adherence to the Honeywell Operating System procedure, insuring Overall Equipment Efficiencies requirement on critical tools, leading equipment selection & purchase process, determine tool location placement, reducing equipment generated scrap, establishing preventive maintenance schedules & requirements, coordinating Repair & Maintenance activities, optimize quality & cycle time performance by working closely with Process & Product Engineering, providing performance data, establishing authorized inventory replenishment process and other activities related to semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
