Be at the Center of Aviation OperationsPDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Aviation Customer Support professional to join our partner’s team in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, you’ll be a critical part of flight and passenger operations, ensuring workers, crews, and supplies move safely and efficiently to remote field locations. Your expertise in communication, coordination, and customer service will directly impact the success of vital operations in one of the most unique aviation environments in the country.
What You’ll DoCoordinate with travel planners to meet the travel needs of workers supporting North Slope operations.
Use the iLogistics passenger reservation system to manage passenger travel needs.
Provide exceptional customer service while handling phone activity and passenger inquiries.
Disseminate flight information to flight crews, ticket counters, ground support teams, maintenance, and North Slope personnel.
Conduct flight following and provide weather/runway condition reports to pilots.
Support responses to off-schedule or irregular operations, including maintenance delays or aircraft diverts.
Play a key role in emergency response operations and prepare detailed operations reports.
Adapt quickly to dynamic operating conditions caused by weather or mechanical issues.
Perform other duties as required to support smooth aviation operations.
What You’ll BringRequired Qualifications
3+ years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
3+ years of customer service experience.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Willingness and ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the iLogistics reservation system.
Experience with aircraft flight following or FAA Dispatch license.
Prior experience living/working on the North Slope and familiarity with terminology.
Strong time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to type at least 50 wpm.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and adaptability in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
