Job Summary:
The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for a Senior Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities.
What You Will Do:
Prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax
Ensuring compliance with key internal control procedures
Reviewing, preparing and posting manual journal entries requests
Assist with audit requests
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual flux analysis and reports
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field and 2 years’ relevant financial/accounting experience.
Experience with SAP, Analysis for Office, MS Excel or similar financial systems.
U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignments and desire to improve processes.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various disciplines
Self-guided, self-motivated, and highly organized and team player
Ability to explain balances, purpose of accounts and identify inconsistencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize effectively
Experience in DoD or Aerospace industry
Effective, pleasant, and business-like interpersonal skills

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
