Finance

The Finance department, which manages the companys budgets, forecasts and investments, and provides analysis of our financial performance and strategies.

Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible of BSP and CASS accounting processes, refunds, ACM and ADMs management, ticket taxes calculation, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (local and corporate), prepare local and corporate journal entries. Works very close to Manager providing support in local accounting process, external audit and tax filings. Responsible of data input for Payroll Process, review final process and approve. Works close to HR for any update on employees files or status. Prepare Forecast and review AP process and approval for payments.

Travel agencies (BSP) reports processing (local accounting - refunds - charegbacks and assist Sales Dept)
AP & Non AP local disbursements accounting for Corporate
ACM/ADMs and refunds
Analysis and reconciliation of local balance sheet accounts
Cargo (CASS) reports processing
Supports Departments Head for any project -contracts- or taxes concerns

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelors degree
Accounting experience in Argentina
Progressing through CA / CPA or equivalent post graduate studies
Experience of preparing bank reconciliations and accounts reconciliations
Experience assisting with month end accounting close processes
Perform daily accounting, finance, and administration functions (AR, AP, cargo, payroll, reconciliation, budgeting, government surveys, treasury/cash forecasting, tax/VAT reporting and compliance, corporate compliance, internal controls, facility management) in country
Assist with month-end accounting, including preparing journal entries and producing ad hoc reports
Assist with the preparation of VAT return, Fringe Benefit Tax & other indirect tax
Coordinate/oversee processing of internal and external customer requests and enquires
Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, local compliance, and support internal audit & external audit requests
Financial administration tasks and ad hoc duties
Must be legally authorized to work in Argentina for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
